A far wider range: food, stationery, skincare, storage, furniture and clothing in Japanese sizes, much of it never exported. MUJI, launched in 1980 and run by Ryohin Keikaku, the company established for it in 1989, has its fullest online catalogue in Japan, and the items overseas buyers order through a proxy are the ones missing from their local store — retort curries and snacks, the full stationery and pen range, the polypropylene storage system in every size, the sensitive-skin lotion series, and Japan-only seasonal products. MUJI's Japanese online store delivers inside Japan only; OneMall gives you the Japanese address, pays in yen and forwards from our Japan warehouse.
| Category | Japanese | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Food | 食品 | Retort curries (レトルトカレー), snacks, tea |
| Stationery | 文房具 | Gel ink pens, notebooks, planners |
| Storage | ポリプロピレン収納 / PP収納 | Polypropylene drawers and boxes in the full size range |
| Skincare | スキンケア / 化粧水 | Sensitive-skin lotion and milk series |
| Home | 家具 / 生活雑貨 | Body-fit sofa, aroma diffusers, kitchenware |
| Clothing | 衣料品 | Japanese sizes |
Most of the range ships; sprays, aerosols and some food do not. OneMall's prohibited items list places sprays under gases, so MUJI's spray-format products cannot be forwarded, while lotions, milks and cleansers in bottles can. Food is allowed by OneMall but subject to your own country's import rules — many countries restrict meat-containing products, and retort curries often contain meat — so check your customs rules before ordering food. Furniture is a matter of parcel size rather than permission.
| Item | Ships? |
|---|---|
| Stationery, storage, kitchenware, clothing | Yes |
| Skincare in bottles and tubes | Yes |
| Spray and aerosol products | No — sprays are listed under gases |
| Food | Yes from Japan; check your country's import rules, especially for meat |
| Furniture | Yes if a shipping method accepts the parcel size |
They are Japanese sizes, which run smaller than the size charts used in MUJI's US and European stores at the same letter, so check the centimetre size chart on the Japanese product page or the 実寸 measurements on a resale listing. Shoes and socks are sized in centimetres.
New from MUJI's Japanese online store — paste the product link and OneMall orders it — and from resellers on Amazon Japan and Rakuten who list MUJI items; secondhand and unused resale on Mercari and Rakuma, where discontinued and seasonal products appear.
| Where | What you typically find |
|---|---|
| MUJI Japan online store | Full Japanese range; order by pasting the link |
| Amazon Japan, Rakuten resellers | Popular items relisted by third-party shops |
| Mercari, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket | Discontinued and seasonal items, unused stationery and storage |
It depends on what is in it, more than for any brand of clothing, because MUJI orders mix light stationery with heavy food and bulky storage. At order time you pay the yen price, OneMall's service fee, shown before you confirm, and the seller's domestic shipping if charged; after the items reach our Japan warehouse you choose an international shipping method and pay for it, priced on weight and volume. Pens and notebooks are negligible, a case of retort curries is heavy, and polypropylene drawers are bulky and best shipped nested. Because individual items are inexpensive, the order only makes sense as a consolidated basket shipped once. Import duty, if your country charges it, is collected on delivery.
無印良品, the Japanese name, or 無印 for short; MUJI in Latin letters also appears. Add the product category in Japanese, and 廃盤 for discontinued items on the resale sites.

Use OneMall as your Japan proxy. We give you a Japanese address, pay the seller in yen, receive your MUJI order at our warehouse in Japan, then forward it to the USA and worldwide — you do not need a Japanese address, phone number or payment method.
Japanese stores and marketplaces carry Japan-exclusive releases and limited editions that never reach overseas retail. Shopping the Japanese market directly is the only way to reach that inventory.
OneMall searches Japan's major marketplaces and stores in one place — including Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Amazon Japan, Rakuten, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket, Suruga-ya, Animate and ZOZOTOWN — so you can compare MUJI listings across sites without opening a Japanese account on each one.
Yes. Items bought from different sellers are received at our warehouse in Japan and can be consolidated into a single parcel before international shipping, which lowers the per-item shipping cost.
OneMall does not guarantee authenticity. Brand items are bought on your behalf from Japanese stores and from sellers on Japanese marketplaces, and our purchase terms state that authenticity, quality and condition are not guaranteed, especially for used items. Read the listing photos and condition notes in full before ordering.
