MOMOSE Custom Craft Guitars (Momose)

MT3-PP

MOMOSE Custom Craft Guitars is named after Yoshio Momose, a Senior Master Builder at the Asuka factory in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. It is one of Japan's premier guitar brands, with each instrument meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans.

The MT3-PP features high-quality wood materials including an African Mahogany body, Hard Maple neck, and Madagascar Rosewood fretboard. Its appeal lies in its thick, core-rich sound, combining the rich mid-low frequencies and sustain characteristic of Mahogany with the clear attack of the Maple neck.

Equipped with two P-90 type pickups, it retains the crisp clarity typical of single-coils while offering a thicker, sweeter tone. It handles a wide range of sounds from clean to overdrive and powerful distortion.

The back of the body features contouring for excellent comfort despite its Telecaster-style design. Considerations for playability include recessed neck joint plates.

It also features a top lacquer finish and through-body stringing. The thin finish and high-precision assembly preserve the natural resonance and response of the wood. The neck offers a balanced grip—not too thin or thick—providing both stability and smooth fingering.

This instrument boasts the quality and presence unique to Japanese-made guitars, achieved through carefully selected materials and meticulous handcrafting.
