[Novel] Yakoudo Kitan Vol. 3 (Part 2)

Product description

A Western-style mansion resembling a reception hall stands by the shore of Kongo Lake. It is one of the legacies of Tachiba Rō. Ohno and Sakura were assigned to investigate there. When they unlocked the sturdy lock, time inside the mansion seemed frozen, and blue butterflies made from parts of human bodies flew down from the second floor. Climbing the stairs, they found Kayama wearing a student uniform—("Dream Butterfly").

After his wife passed away, a letter arrived from a person named Kayama, a student. He said he wanted to return something he was holding onto. It was a magatama in a luggage bag. He claimed it was a sacred treasure, but it felt creepy. However, when a mummified corpse was pulled up from the river, the bead from the luggage had swollen as if it had sucked blood—("Bunya").

Giken Shinzō, the last resident of the haunted housing complex Minō Danchi. Over 100 people have already died under suspicious circumstances. The prefectural government stated that "the root of anomalies lies within Minō Danchi." However, the very first incident was the sudden death of Chikako, mother of Takamoto Shu, at the complex—("Death Pit").

Tachiba and the student Kayama are on a boat in Yanagawa, heading toward Tachiba's villa at Kongo Lake. There, Hatsuе Suruga, the mother of the head of the client family and lady of the inner quarters of the Suruga household, arrived. With the death of the current head, Atsuyuki, she requested that Oshirosama, who resides in the okuzashiki (inner chambers), be pacified. ("Finger Cutter")

Volume 3 gradually reveals the full picture of Kayama, the mastermind behind Jujutsu Kaisen in Yashiki-machi. This volume includes all ten stories, with new content added for the lower half.
