Meeting Satou Manatsu, Uenoyama Natsuki's passion for music was reignited.
Manatsu's singing and Natsuki's guitar—the gears of the band "Given" began to turn, but
as Manatsu's past and his feelings for Natsuki intersect once again, the distance between the two begins to widen.
The original work is "Given," serialized by Kizna Tsuki in "Sheri Plus" (Shinshokan) starting in 2013.
As Fuji TV's "Noitamina"'s first anime adaptation of a BL comic,
the TV anime aired in 2019, followed by the series' first film, "Movie Given," in 2020.
In the following year, 2021, it was adapted into a live-action drama and stage play, becoming a hugely popular youth band story.
Then, the long-awaited anime sequel and series finale, a two-part film: Part 1 "Movie Given: Hiiragi Mix" and Part 2 "Movie Given: Umi e," were released in 2024.

≪ストーリー≫
佐藤真冬、上ノ山立夏、中山春樹、梶 秋彦のバンド「ギヴン」は、
フェス出場をかけたコンテストに落ちるも、メジャーデビューへの誘いがかかる。
各メンバーがデビューに前向きな姿勢を見せる中、真冬は答えを出せずにいた。
一方、メジャーデビューを決めた鹿島 柊と八木玄純のバンド「syh〈シー〉」。
一時的なサポートギターとして加入していた立夏は、
柊から託されたある曲を完成させようとしていた。
そんな中、立夏のもとに真冬から「あいたい」と連絡がくる。
ただならない雰囲気を感じた立夏は真冬のもとに駆けつけるが、
真冬の音楽を拒むようなその態度に気づいてしまう。
立夏への想い、音楽への想い。
さまざまな気持ちの前で戸惑い、
立ち止まってしまう真冬。
そんな彼に声をかけたのは、
世界的に活躍するヴァイオリニスト・村田雨月だった。
