【Gurren Lagann the Movie: Childhood's End】

This is the story of a man who has yet to realize his destiny—.

A distant future where vast time has passed. Humanity has found its living space deep underground and lives there.

Earthquakes and cave-ins occasionally strike the village. For hundreds of years, people have lived in fear, their hearts small and hardened, holding their breath.

In one such settlement, the village of Jiiha, there were two men. One was a shy boy, Simon.

The other was Kamina, a man who never doubted that the surface existed.

The destinies of the two began to move greatly when the ceiling of the village collapsed.

What fell with the collapsed ceiling was

A girl named Yoko, who carried a giant mecha called a Gunmen with a face on its torso and a superconducting rifle,

and the sunlight pouring down from the sky.

"I knew there was a surface after all!" Along with Kamina's wish to dream of the surface's existence,

the two added Yoko as a new comrade, and boarded the mecha Lagann, which Simon had dug up, to dash out to the distant surface!

However, the surface they had dreamed of was a world ruled by the Spiral King, and dominated by beastmen riding his subordinate Gunmen. Kamina and Simon challenge such a desperate world.

As they break through what everyone had considered "common sense" one after another, more and more people begin to empathize with their actions.

But an overwhelming wall of power stands before them.

At the moment they foresaw defeat, Kamina's choice was—the fusion of Gurren and Lagann!

The fusion, which everyone thought impossible, brought about a miracle, and a new power, "Gurren Lagann," was born.

It was the signal for the counterattack against the Spiral King, and the prelude to further battles.

However, it would still be some time before the man would realize his own destiny—

【Gurren Lagann the Movie: The Lights Go From Red to Blue】

The day the sky was pierced, I saw the path to tomorrow.

This is the story of a man who continues to fight against destiny—

Overcoming Kamina's death, defeating the Four Heavenly Kings of the Spiral King, the Dai-Gurren Brigade approaches the royal capital Teppellin.

Amidst fierce battles with the beastman army, Simon confronts the Spiral King, Lordgenome, and narrowly wins after a spectacular one-on-one battle.

Seven years after the Teppellin conquest battle—.

Humanity, having reclaimed the surface, rapidly built civilization and enjoyed prosperity.

A peaceful world that seemed like it would last forever.

But when they extended their reach to space, an enemy of unknown origin appeared.

Humanity, attempting to resist, was overwhelmed by their overwhelming power with no recourse.

When everyone was trapped in "absolute despair," they rise again.

The final battle of Simon and the Dai-Gurren Brigade is about to begin….
