Denim. MOUSSY is a Tokyo women's brand launched in 2000 by Baroque Japan, the company that also runs SLY, AZUL by moussy and RODEO CROWNS, and it grew out of the Shibuya 109 scene into a brand built on jeans — the MVS denim line — and sharp, simple tops. It is sold through its own Japanese stores, its online shop, ZOZOTOWN and Baroque's SHEL'TTER WEB STORE, all domestic-only, with a busy resale market on Mercari and Rakuma. The Japanese spelling is マウジー, and that is the word to search. OneMall provides the Japanese address and yen payment and forwards from our Japan warehouse.
By waist number in inches on the MVS and other denim lines — 24, 25, 26 and up — with the fit name in the product title, and Japanese sellers add the 実寸 waist, rise and inseam in centimetres. Because MOUSSY cuts for Japanese proportions, the actual waist and the 股下 (inseam) numbers are the guide, not the inch label alone. Tops use the Japanese numeric scale 1 and 2 or F.
MVS for the core denim line, listed with the fit; the sister brands under their own names; and item types in katakana. Sellers write マウジー and then the product, and the older Shibuya-era pieces are listed as ヴィンテージ or 旧タグ (old tag).

They describe fading, damage and alterations. 色落ち is fading, ダメージ加工 is intentional distressing as made, ダメージ追加 is wear that has developed since, and 裾上げ済 means the hem has been shortened, with the new inseam given. Sellers state 着用回数 and whether the jeans have been washed.

Because マウジー is the brand's own Japanese rendering, printed on its Japanese store signage and used by Japanese sellers, and a search for another spelling misses their listings.
