DIATONE "DS-1000" 3-way sealed pair speaker

This is the DIATONE 3-way sealed speaker DS-1000, released in 1983. It features a 27cm cone-type woofer for low frequencies, a 5cm dome-type midrange driver, and a 2.3cm dome-type tweeter for high frequencies. For the mid and high frequency ranges, it employs DUD boron diaphragms (a rigid material integrating the diaphragm and voice coil), which are now difficult to manufacture. This allows for excellent high-frequency reproduction with superior fast response. The frequency response range is 35Hz to 40,000Hz. Although it is a bookshelf type measuring 360mm wide x 625mm high x 325mm deep, it is heavy, making it suitable for pairing with an amplifier that has strong driving power. Condition: There is a hole in the midrange on the left side. The tweeter on the right side appears slightly dented. No cracks are visible on the woofer's edge surround. The Saran net has tears at the corners. Additionally, on the right speaker, one pin securing the logo is broken. As mentioned above, the condition is not very good, so please check carefully before purchasing. Included items: ・2 speakers Function check items: ・Sound output OK Although this is an amateur inspection, there is no muffled sound or abnormal noises. Since each speaker weighs 27kg, they will be shipped as two packages.
