That the watch comes with everything it was sold with: the box, the warranty card, the booklets, the tag and the spare bracelet links. Japanese Rolex sellers list accessories as a checklist rather than a phrase, because in Japan a Rolex with its papers and one without are treated as different products, and 付属品完備 (fuzokuhin kanbi) is the shorthand for the complete set. The warranty card is the item to read: it shows the dealer and date of sale, and a new-format card was introduced in 2020, so older watches carry the earlier printed card. The papers date the watch and name where it was sold; they are not a verification, and OneMall is a proxy buying service, not the seller, and does not guarantee authenticity — read the card, the case engraving and the movement photos together before ordering.
The reference (型番) identifies the model and the serial (シリアル) identifies the individual watch, and Japanese sellers state both. The reference is a number such as 126610 and is written in the title; the serial is engraved on the case and, since 2010, is a random alphanumeric string rather than a sequence, so it no longer dates the watch by itself — the warranty card does that. Model names appear in katakana alongside the reference.
| Model | Japanese | How sellers write it |
|---|---|---|
Whether it runs, when it was last serviced and how accurately it keeps time, which for a mechanical watch are the three facts that matter more than cosmetic condition. 稼働品 (kadōhin) means the seller has confirmed the watch is running; OH済 (overhaul done) means a service has been carried out, and serious sellers give the date and whether it was done by Rolex Japan or an independent watchmaker; 日差 (nissa) is the daily rate in seconds, measured on a timing machine and written as 日差+3秒 or similar. Japanese watch shops also state whether the bracelet has been polished (研磨済) and whether the crystal is scratched (風防傷).
Mainly through licensed watch dealers. Japanese secondhand dealers must hold a 古物商 licence and verify the identity of the people they buy from, and the Rolex trade in Japan runs through specialist watch shops and brand-resale chains that sell in store, on Rakuten and through shop accounts on Yahoo Auctions, with the accessories, service history and daily rate stated. Private listings on Mercari and Yahoo Auctions exist and carry less documentation. All deliver inside Japan only, so an overseas buyer orders through a proxy.
| Where | What you typically find |
|---|---|
| Rakuten watch shops | Current and recent references, full sets, shop warranty stated |
| Yahoo Auctions shop accounts | Wider range including older references and head-only watches |
| Mercari, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket | Private listings, fewer papers, straps and boxes sold separately |
| Yahoo Auctions private listings | Vintage references, parts, bracelets |
A service fee at order time, the shipping when the watch leaves Japan, and whatever your country charges at the border, which for a Rolex is the part to plan for. At order time you pay the yen price, OneMall's service fee, shown before you confirm, and the seller's domestic shipping if charged. After the watch reaches our Japan warehouse you choose an international shipping method and pay for it; a watch is small, but the Rolex box is not, and you can ask to ship the head and papers without the outer box. On delivery your own country applies its import duty or tax to the declared value, and a Rolex is the kind of item where that almost always applies, so check your country's rules for watch imports before you order.
ロレックス plus the model in katakana or the reference number; the reference alone is the most precise search because Japanese shops always include it. Adding 付属品完備 filters to full sets and ギャランティ to watches with the card.

Use OneMall as your Japan proxy. We give you a Japanese address, pay the seller in yen, receive your ROLEX order at our warehouse in Japan, then forward it to the USA and worldwide — you do not need a Japanese address, phone number or payment method.
Japanese stores and marketplaces carry Japan-exclusive releases and limited editions that never reach overseas retail. Shopping the Japanese market directly is the only way to reach that inventory.
OneMall searches Japan's major marketplaces and stores in one place — including Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Amazon Japan, Rakuten, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket, Suruga-ya, Animate and ZOZOTOWN — so you can compare ROLEX listings across sites without opening a Japanese account on each one.
Yes. Items bought from different sellers are received at our warehouse in Japan and can be consolidated into a single parcel before international shipping, which lowers the per-item shipping cost.
OneMall does not guarantee authenticity. Brand items are bought on your behalf from Japanese stores and from sellers on Japanese marketplaces, and our purchase terms state that authenticity, quality and condition are not guaranteed, especially for used items. Read the listing photos and condition notes in full before ordering.
