Duel Masters (デュエル・マスターズ) is published in Japan by Takara Tomy and has run continuously there with new expansions, while the English-language release was discontinued. That single fact drives the whole market: for anything printed in the last decade there is no English equivalent card to buy, so Japanese prints are not a preference but the only option. It also means the current competitive card pool, the promos and the reprint history all exist in Japanese only, and the Japanese secondhand market is where singles from out-of-print sets circulate.
Japanese listings separate very clearly into sealed product, singles and bulk, and the word in the title tells you which one you are looking at before you open it. Getting this right matters because the price difference between a sealed box and a single card of the same set is enormous.
| Japanese term | What it means | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 未開封BOX | Sealed booster box | Opening or long-term holding |
| シングル / 単品 | Single card | Completing a deck or a collection |
| 構築済みデッキ | Pre-constructed deck | Starting the game |
| まとめ売り / 大量 | Bulk lot | Cheap volume, condition varies per card |
| プロモ / 限定 | Promo / limited distribution card | Event and magazine exclusives |
Japan does not lean on the graded-slab market the way North America does; most singles are sold raw, with condition written out in the description. These are the terms that decide whether a card is playable, collectable or neither. For a sealed box, the words to look for are 未開封 (unopened) and シュリンク付き (shrink wrap intact).
The total breaks down as below. Singles are the cheapest thing you can import from Japan — a sleeved card in a rigid case weighs almost nothing, so international shipping is a small share of the total and consolidating a stack of singles into one parcel costs little more than sending one. Sealed boxes are the opposite case: they are dense and heavy, and shipping becomes a real line item.
| What you pay | When you pay it |
|---|---|
| Item price in yen | At order time |
| OneMall's service fee | At order time, shown before you confirm |
| Domestic shipping inside Japan, if the seller charges it | At order time |
| International shipping to your country | After the item reaches our Japan warehouse |
| Import duty or tax, if your country charges it | On delivery, paid to your carrier or customs |
Both, and they return different result sets. デュエマ is the standard abbreviation and appears in most listing titles; デュエルマスターズ is the full katakana name. Search both if you are hunting one specific card.

Use OneMall as your Japan proxy. We give you a Japanese address, pay the seller in yen, receive your Duel Masters order at our warehouse in Japan, then forward it to the USA and worldwide — you do not need a Japanese address, phone number or payment method.
Japanese stores and marketplaces carry Japan-exclusive releases and limited editions that never reach overseas retail. Shopping the Japanese market directly is the only way to reach that inventory.
OneMall searches Japan's major marketplaces and stores in one place — including Mercari, Yahoo Auctions, Amazon Japan, Rakuten, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket, Suruga-ya, Animate and ZOZOTOWN — so you can compare Duel Masters listings across sites without opening a Japanese account on each one.
Yes. Items bought from different sellers are received at our warehouse in Japan and can be consolidated into a single parcel before international shipping, which lowers the per-item shipping cost.
OneMall does not guarantee authenticity. Brand items are bought on your behalf from Japanese stores and from sellers on Japanese marketplaces, and our purchase terms state that authenticity, quality and condition are not guaranteed, especially for used items. Read the listing photos and condition notes in full before ordering.
