The sizing, the trouser hems and the brands that never leave the country. Japanese menswear is cut for Japanese proportions, so a Japanese L fits like a US M and the 実寸 measurements Japanese sellers list decide the purchase; trousers from Japanese shops are often sold 未裾上げ (unhemmed) with the shop offering a 裾上げ (hemming) service, which a proxy order has to specify; and the brands — 裏原 streetwear, select shop labels and their 別注 exclusives, ドメブラ designer labels, アメカジ reproductions — sell through Japanese stores and online shops that deliver inside Japan only. OneMall supplies the Japanese address and yen payment and forwards from our Japan warehouse.
From the centimetre measurements, not the letter. Japanese sellers list 着丈 (body length), 身幅 (chest, flat), 肩幅 (shoulder) and 袖丈 (sleeve) for tops, and ウエスト, 股上 (rise), 股下 (inseam) and わたり (thigh) for trousers; tailoring uses Japanese jacket sizes 44 to 50; shoes are in centimetres. Compare against a garment you own and, on trousers, check whether the inseam is as sold or after hemming.
| Item | Japanese fields | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Tops | 着丈 / 身幅 / 肩幅 / 袖丈 | Against a top that fits |
| Trousers | ウエスト / 股上 / 股下 / わたり | Inseam as sold vs after 裾上げ |
| Tailoring | サイズ 44–50 | Japanese jacket scale; chest in cm |
| Shoes | 26.0cm / 27.0cm | Centimetre length |
未裾上げ means the trousers are sold with the full-length hem unfinished, which is normal for Japanese shops, and 裾上げ済 with a 股下 figure means the hem has already been shortened to that inseam. Shops that offer hemming ask for the inseam at checkout; when you order through OneMall by pasting a product link, state the hemming choice in the order notes if the shop requires one, or buy unhemmed and have it done locally. On resale listings, a hemmed pair is a fixed inseam.
ZOZOTOWN for new stock from Japanese brands and select shops; the brands' own online shops by pasting a link; Mercari and Rakuma for resale of recent seasons; Yahoo Auctions for archive and vintage; 2nd STREET and ZOZOTOWN used for shop-graded secondhand. The brand pages for BEAMS, UNITED ARROWS, BAPE, NEIGHBORHOOD and the designer labels cover their own line names.
| Where | What you typically find |
|---|---|
| ZOZOTOWN, brand online shops | Current season, 別注 exclusives; order by pasting the link |
| Mercari, Rakuma, Yahoo Fleamarket | Recent seasons, streetwear, denim |
| Yahoo Auctions | Archive designer pieces, vintage, military and workwear |
| 2nd STREET, ZOZOTOWN used | Shop-graded secondhand |
By location, which is how Japanese sellers write them: the flaw and where it is. Denim gets 色落ち (fading) and ダメージ (distressing, factory or since); knits get 毛玉 (pilling); outerwear gets ファスナー (zip) and 裏地 (lining) notes; shoes get ソール減り. Provenance wording is the seller's statement; OneMall is a proxy buying service, not the seller, and does not guarantee authenticity.
Little for tops, more for denim, most for outerwear and shoes, all paid after the parcel is packed at our Japan warehouse. At order time you pay the yen price, OneMall's service fee, shown before you confirm, and the seller's domestic shipping if charged; then you choose an international shipping method priced on weight and volume. Raw denim and coats are heavy, shoes ship by the box, and consolidating several purchases into one parcel is the saving. Import duty, if your country charges it, is collected on delivery.

Yes. Orders from different sellers arrive at our Japan warehouse separately and can be consolidated into one parcel before international shipping.
OneMall does not guarantee authenticity. OneMall is a proxy buying service, not the seller: both new and used items are bought on your behalf from third-party Japanese stores and marketplace sellers, and we forward what that seller ships.
